Unwinders and Rewinders from MBO

Here we present here the UW23 unwinder. It is suitable for rolls up to 23" wide and 52" in diameter. For other models (rewinders, other formats, etc.) please contact us. You will find the contact persons further down on this page.

 

In digital finishing, everything starts with the perfect feeding of the printed paper rolls to the finishing system. This means that web tension and guiding must be uniform and exact. To ensure this, the UW23 has pneumatically driven active dancer rollers that control web tension and create a buffer between the unwinder and the autonomous finishing line.

In addition, the unwinder has an electric paper lift and an integrated splice table. Both relieve the operator and contribute to short makeready times.

 

The solid construction with a stable steel frame and robust roller drive gives this high-end module maximum productivity, safety as well as a long life time even in 24/7 operation.
